The first trimester has been completed and we are now in the second trimester of our school year. We wish the children continued success as they begin the second trimester.
We would like to thank the following peoople for helping make our Christmas Shows, spectacular evenings for everyone: Mrs. Athanasia DiVittorio and Mr. Lawrence DiVittorio for decorating the church, Mrs. and Mrs. Demetriou for decorating our academy’s foyer, and the planters outside, Mrs. Terri Vorlicek and Miss Danielle Gangi for the backstage supervision with the Christmas shows, Mrs. Maura Hili and Mrs. Ruby Chronas for their help with selling the Christmas Raffles, and to Mrs. Koumarnetos and her son, Yianni, Mr. Dan Higgins, Mrs. Nicole Geiger, Mrs. Lynne Nealis and Mrs. Patricia Cavera for manning the doors. A special thanks to our music teacher, Miss Stella Hwang for her musical talents, keyboard playing and for preparing the children for the show. A very special thank you also to Mrs. Nancy Annunziata and Mrs. Zotto and all the teachers for their hard work making these shows delightful. The children did a fabulous job!
We want to thank our SFACA parents and children for their wonderul generosity for the toy drive for the children of Marguerite’s Pantry. We donated over 500 toys and games for this wonderful charity. It shows the overwhelming love and support that these children have for those who need it the most. It is this kind spirit that makes our academy so special. A big thank you to Mrs. Maura Hili, Mrs. Ruby Chronas, and all their special “elves” who made this toy drive so successful.
Please continue to notify the office of any telephone number changes or pertinent information changes so we may update our office records. Please made sure that voicemail boxes are cleared to leave messages in the event we need to speak with a family member.
PLEASE NOTE: For the safey of everyone, please keep your child home if he or she is not feeling well. We also need to have all COVID screening forms completed on FACTS before 8am or a hardcopy of the form to be handed in to the teacher first thing when entering the classroom. Masks are to be worn at all times when coming in to the school building, as well as, when droppping and picking up your child.
