We are happy to extend a warm welcome to Mr. Adam Ali our new Music teacher. We are happy to have him join the faculty at SFACA.

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR
Wednesday, February 6 and Thursday, February 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
These dates are for present SFACA families who would like to register a new student for September 2019. Please check our website www.sfaacademy.org for further information. Re-Registration Forms for current students will be sent home on March 1, 2019 and must be returned to the office with the registration fee by March 22, 2019.
For families of current students: Siblings receive priority status when registering for the PKFA Program. If you have a child who is 4 years old (born in 2015) who does not attend our Pre-School Program, and is a sibling of a current SFACA student, and you would like to register for our Pre-K For All Program beginning in September 2019, please contact Mrs. Nealis as soon as possible by calling the office or emailing her at email@example.com. The DOE on line registration opens in early February, 2019 and ends in late March. All parents must apply on line through the DOE site.
SPECIAL THANKS TO:
-Girl Scout troops and fellow students, faculty, and staff for donating socks and toothbrushes for the homeless and for contributing to our CSW Shelter Service Dress Down Day to support the Girl Scouts in Troop 6000. Thanks to SFA Parish for contributing $500. Together we collected $1694 which was used to create gift bags for the troop.
-Grade 2 parents who hosted our January Cake Sale raising $154.75
-All the Academy families who contributed to the Helping Hands Mission Drive in December. The Academy raised $358 to support the Missions.
-Our Home Academy Association and teachers who volunteered to help with the Winter Blast, and DJ, Luigi Ragusa
-Mrs. Kebbe for dressing up our planters so beautifully for the winter months at the front entrance
-M/M Gus Demetriou, Mrs. Athanasia DiVittorio and her brother-in-law, Lawrence DiVittorio, for donating their time to remove all the Christmas decorations
-Mr. Andrea and Mr. Mario for storing away all the Christmas decorations and for the tremendous job they did removing the snow and salting the walkways
-Our Candy Sale coordinator, Mrs. Zotto, and her team: Mrs. Damiris, Mrs. Koumarnetos, and Ms. Loughran

FYI AND REMINDERS:
-All important alerts from Ms. Stefano will be sent to the parents through Option C via text messages and emails. Please be mindful of the message on your cell phone. This will alleviate the number of calls coming into the office and insure you get the proper information.
-We have many lost items in the office with no names for identification. Please write your child’s name on everything
IMPORTANT For the safety of our children, please do not double park your car around the Academy or church, do not leave your car unattended, particularly in front of the building and do not bring your dog when you pick up your child(ren).
