3rd Grade Distance Learning Info

Dear 3rd grade,

Hope all is well so far and everyone is staying healthy (and sane). For now, SFA will be closed until April 20th. I sent home work in packet form for the week of 3/16. I will be uploading a newsletter for the weeks of 3/23 and 3/30. I know this is a strange situation but I hope that we can all work together to keep the children on track. All of the work I assign will be collected/graded online and counted towards our third trimester. Continue reading “3rd Grade Distance Learning Info”

SFACA Distance Learning Information for All Grades

Dear Parents,

We learned today that all schools and academies in the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens will be closed until April 20, 2020.  This was a difficult decision and it came out of the heartfelt concern for our entire school community. Alternative learning venues are being set into place to ensure that the students will be engaged and learning.

In order to keep our students moving forward here at SFACA grades 3 through 8 will be utilizing Google Classroom for instruction.  All students have their Google sign-ins and should log in daily to complete work assigned by the teacher.  Report Cards are being mailed home today along with your Option C log in.
