I can not believe we are half way through the school year!
Your children have been working very hard. I am truly pleased with their progress. I have noted what we are working on and what is to come within the next few weeks and look forward to seeing you during Catholic Schools week.
We are starting to read Maniac Magee and I hope that the children enjoy reading about Jeffrey the ‘Maniac’. Character conflict will be introduced and they will be applying a new concept to the novel while citing specific evidence from their reading. When we wrap up our novel, we will be talking about theme and making text connections.
